ECCCC 2026: Growing in Christ Through the Seven Sacraments
With great joy, we invite our children and families to the 14th Annual East Coast Coptic Children Convention (ECCCC 2026)—a beloved tradition that continues to shape the spiritual lives of our young generation.
Under the auspices of H.G. Bishop David, and through the loving efforts of the NYNE Diocesan Children’s Committee, this year’s convention gathers children around one powerful and life-giving theme:
“The Seven Sacraments”
For fourteen years, this convention has been more than just an event—it has been a spiritual encounter, a community experience, and a foundation of faith for our children.
One Vision — Two Gatherings
To serve our growing community, ECCCC 2026 will take place in two regional gatherings, both united in the same theme, spirit, and experience:

Why the Seven Sacraments?
In the life of the Church, the sacraments are not abstract teachings—they are living encounters with Christ Himself.
Through them, our children will begin to understand that:
- God is not distant—He is present
- Faith is not theoretical—it is experienced
- The Church is not just a place—it is life with Christ
What Will the Children Learn?
Throughout the weekend, children will journey through the seven sacraments in a way that is simple, joyful, and deeply meaningful:
- Baptism – Becoming a new creation in Christ
- Chrismation – Receiving the Holy Spirit
- Confession & Repentance – Returning to God’s embrace
- Holy Eucharist – Living in communion with Christ
- Priesthood – God serving His people through His servants
- Holy Matrimony – Love, unity, and the Christian family
- Unction of the Sick – God’s healing grace
Each sacrament will be presented not only as knowledge, but as a lived experience in their daily life.
A Faith That Comes Alive
ECCCC is known for its joyful and engaging environment where children learn through:
- Interactive workshops
- Creative crafts
- Indoor and outdoor activities
- Music, skits, and fellowship
- Campfire gatherings and shared meals
These moments create lasting memories—and more importantly, lasting faith.
Our Prayer
Our prayer is that every child leaves this convention knowing:
- “Christ is with me.”
- “The Church is my home.”
- “The Sacraments are my life.”
After fourteen years, we have seen how God works in these gatherings—planting seeds that continue to grow for years to come.
Join Us
We invite every family to be part of this blessed journey.
Let us raise a generation that not only knows about Christ, but truly lives in Him through His Church and Sacraments.
